Associate Dean of Campus Life

As Associate Dean of Campus Life, Geoff Norbert partners with the Dean of the College’s office to create the new student Orientation experience. Norbert and his team in the Office of Student Engagement advise over 70 student clubs and organizations, including club sports, and advise the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Student Activities Council (SAC). Student Engagement works to create a robust calendar of social events for the students of Connecticut College including concerts, class traditions, off-campus trips, and late-night programs.

Before joining Connecticut College in 2016, Norbert served as the director of student engagement at Loyola University Maryland. Norbert holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Gettysburg College and a master’s in educational leadership from Loyola University Maryland.

Budget Coordinator/Office Manager Campus Life

Having earned a bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in accounting from Franklin Pierce College and a master’s degree in management from Albertus Magnus College, Kim is a seasoned professional who has worked in the fields of higher education, property management, event management, sales and the hospitality industry. When not working, Kim spends time with her family and enjoys crocheting, puzzles, being a Mom, and all things Disney.

Assistant Director of Student Engagement

As the Assistant Director of Student Engagement, Sadie is here to support all clubs and organizations on campus to ensure their needs are met and to engage them with all that our campus has to offer. Sadie is an Alumni of the University of New Haven with experience in events and tourism, business administration and student affairs. Outside of this role, Sadie enjoys reading, going on walks, spending time at the beach and hanging out with her cat!

Assistant Director of Outdoor Leadership and Club Sports

As Assistant Director of Outdoor Leadership and Club Sports, Rachel works hard to promote connection, encourage folks to challenge themselves, and reflect on their experiences to activate growth. An alumna of Gettysburg College with a BA in Philosophy, Rachel loves exploring Southeastern CT on her kayak, watching Hartford Yard Goats baseball games, hanging out with her cat, and listening to interesting podcasts in beautiful places.

Director of Residential Life

Eric (he,him,his) joins us from Regis University in Denver, CO where Eric held multiple positions in Residence Life, Community Standards and Care. Eric joins the Residence Life team with over 15yrs of experience fostering inclusive residential communities, developing residential curriculums, and providing intentional support and care for the overall student experience. Eric has a passion for diversity and inclusive excellence initiatives and holds a Master in Education: Leadership and Inclusive Practices as well as a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. Outside of his role, Eric enjoys spending time with family, going on hikes with his husband, and exploring new places.

Associate Director of Residential Life

Becky comes to Conn from the South (New Orleans native), excited to work with a student population that is invested in their college experience. She has over 10 years of Residence Life experience from many types of institutions. Becky earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola University New Orleans, a Master of Arts in Student Affairs from Louisiana State University, and a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. When not at work, you can find Becky playing board games with her partner and friends, reading, or playing with her cat.

Donna (she/her) moved to Connecticut from Pennsylvania with her partner, dogs, and cat. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2021 and is working on a Master of Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Donna held roles in Residence Life during her undergraduate time at Kutztown University and most recently was a Graduate Residence Director at Northampton Community College. For fun, Donna likes to spend the afternoon at the dog park then lounge with a bowl of popcorn for movie night.

Taylor graduated from Connecticut College in 2020 where she obtained her bachelor's in biology, as well as worked for two years with Residential Life as both a Floor Governor and Housefellow. She also recently graduated with her master's in higher education. In her free time, you can find her tending to her houseplants, or spending time with her partner and two cats.
