Connecticut College presents Senior Art Thesis Exhibition

"S-T-A-U-N-C-H. They don't weaken." By Natasha Gallipeau

A diverse collection of pieces created by 19 senior art majors will be on display at Connecticut College May 6-22 in the Cummings Arts Center galleries. The artists explore themes ranging from nostalgia, energy and dreams using a variety of mediums including porcelain, pen and ink, graphite, ceramics, metals, digital prints, mixed media, acrylics, oils, new media and wintergreen transfers. One artist is even setting up his own salon-style display. The student artists will discuss their work at a May 6 opening reception at 5 p.m. in the Cummings Arts Center galleries. The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, call 860-439-2740.
