Cross-Country Reception for Alumni and Parents Sept. 26

Following the only home cross-country meet of the year at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn., join alumni and parents at a special reception from 3-5 p.m. in the 1962 Room in the College Center at Crozier-Williams. Post-Performance Reception at the Guthrie Theater Oct. 11

Join alumni and parents Sunday, Oct. 11, for an afternoon at the Guthrie Theater with Stuart Pimsler MA'78 and his dance company. The company will perform at 1 p.m. and then host a post-performance gathering and discussion in the Target Lounge. Tickets to the performance can be purchased online or by calling 612-377-2224.

Reading and Reception with Professor Andrew Pessin Oct. 15

On Thursday, Oct. 15, Professor of Philosophy Andrew Pessin, author of The God Question: What Famous Thinkers from Plato to Dawkins Have Said About the Divine and The 60 Second Philosopher, will read from his work, answer questions and sign books. A reception will follow.

The reading is at Porter Square Books, 25 White St., Cambridge, Mass. from 7-9 p.m. Ellen Jarrett '78 is organizing the event. For more information e-mail alumni@conncoll.edu. The event is free.

Head of the Charles Regatta Oct. 17

Join alumni, parents and students Oct. 17 in Boston for the Head of the Charles Regatta. The College's hospitality tent in Reunion Village is open all day. To date, the women's crew will be competing in the Intercollegiate Four Event. For more information e-mail alumni@conncoll.edu.
