Support the College with a Parents Fund gift in honor of your graduating senior, and you can include a message in a special honor roll booklet next spring. Your senior can also make an Annual Fund gift in honor of you, a professor or someone else who’s had a special influence in his or her life. Help the Homeless 5K Walkathon in DC
There are over 6,000 homeless men, women and children in Washington. Help combat this urgent problem by joining alumni and parents at the 22nd Annual Help the Homeless Walkathon on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Please let us know if you can participate by registering and e-mailing Usman Khosa '04 at usmankhosa@gmail.com. He will let you know where Connecticut College walkers will meet before the 5K.
When registering, you’ll be asked to select an organization to benefit. If you’re unsure of which to choose, Usman recommends Miriam’s Kitchen, a non-profit that provides the homeless in D.C. with healthy meals and comprehensive case management services.
Come wearing your Camel blue. The walk will be followed by light reception provided by Connecticut College at Gordon Biersch Brewery located at 900 F St. NW.
